Everlasting Beauty in Bronze
Bronze is known as 'The Metal of the Ages' perfect for cast plaques and artefacts. Time can only enhance a plaque's character.

Since man first discovered bronze over 4000 years ago, it has been fashioned to honour the memory of loved ones or to commemorate outstanding achievements.

The Product
With the aid of computers, we can make our plaques using any available font providing they are feasable for casting. The smallest lettering size allowable is 6mm high (1/4") any smaller and detail will be lost in the sand mould. All cast plaques have raised lettering and graphics.

Any design or logo can be easily added to a computer plaque, the end result being flat relief. The first three examples demonstrate flat relief art. Three dimensional bass relief designs require the hands of a sculptor and hand type-setting. The last two examples demonstrate the use of bass relief designs.

Either memorial, commemorative, unveiling or corporate, bronze plaques are perfect, they will last a life time.

ANPAS cast plaques can be seen Australia wide, they adorn the Asia-Pacific region, The Holy Land, The Vatican Museum and Buckingham Palace.

Method
Firstly, a pattern is needed for casting. There are two methods of making patterns these are conventional hand type-setting or from computer generated artwork. Computer artwork is the most common way we make our plaques today with hand type-setting only reserved for special cases.

When the pattern is complete and approved, the foundry can make a mould to pour the molten bronze. Sand casting is the most common method for creating bronze plaques.

The casting is then worked on by experienced hands and then finished by sandblasting, chemically oxidising, linishing and finally protective coated to withstand the test of time. The whole process from start to finish requires a manufacturing time of no less than 3 weeks to ensure a quality product.
